    GEH-SL6 is a kind of surfacing welding for engine valve, turbine blade, high temperature and high pressure valve, hot forging die and other high temperature wear resistance and corrosion resistance parts. In the welding process, in order to be firmly combined with the substrate, it is necessary to weld deep penetration. Therefore, only short arc welding method can be adopted. Secondly, in order to solve the problem of deep pool and excessive base material melting into the weld during short arc welding, the dilution rate is high. The lack of active components in the weld layer reduces the wear resistance problem. Must use the method of multiple, multi - layer surfacing. In this way, not only the effective components and wear resistance in the backsurfacing layer increase layer by layer. Moreover, the first few layers of surfacing also play the role of a transition layer, reducing the crack caused by the difference of thermal expansion coefficient between the two adjacent layers. Meanwhile, the straight line movement method, fish scale movement method, herringbone movement method or short arc agitation movement method should be adopted.
